The Opera CD's are designed to be used in the CD player that is installed in a typical computer system. WinAmp Player is on the Opera CD and opens automatically for you. The Opera Encyclopedias are on CD-ROM and are NOT compatable with Music CD players unless the player is a combination unit like those found in computer systems or the new multi- play units designed for multi-media use. Some CD-mp3 players like the Rio Volt will play the The data recorded on your Opera Encylopedia, but these Opera disks are designed to be read by Computer CD players. If you attempt to "play" these CD-ROM disks as a Music CD you may hear Nothing, or loud screeching noise which is the computer data, NOT music. To hear the music files, the disk must be read by a computer controlled CD-ROM style of player. The COMPUTER will read the files and send the correct type to your computer media player, like the WinAmp player which is installed on all of our Opera disks. You may also use Windows Media Player or Real Player etc. The Opera Encylopedias contain BOTH computer files and audio files, but the audio can only be read by computer programs, NOT Music CD Players.
